The campout on March 22nd took place at Dumbarton Quarry Lakes. It was a very fun and relaxing campout. All the scouts took part in preparing delicious and nutritious meals, showcasing great teamwork and cooking skills. As the evening settled in, everyone gathered to make classic stove s’mores, which added a warm and tasty touch to the night. During the day, we went on a scenic hike around the area, taking in the peaceful surroundings and spotting a variety of colorful flowers and interesting plants. There was also a playground conveniently located near the campsite, and many of the scouts had a great time playing and unwinding there. Overall, it was an incredibly fun and meaningful campout. Not only did the scouts enjoy themselves, but it also gave them a wonderful opportunity to bond, strengthen friendships, and create lasting memories in the great outdoors.
